Brand-New 2025 Cadillac Escalade ESV Rides on 30s, Do We Call It a World’s First or Not?
2025 Cadillac Escalade ESV on Forgiatos

Last year, General Motors retained the lead across the US automotive market with a four-percent surge to no less than 2.7 million deliveries. On the other hand, Cadillac overshot the distance with a nine percent increase in its sales.

According to GM, their luxury brand was happily selling all the Escalade full-size body-on-frame luxury SUVs and Lyriq all-electric mid-size crossovers they could find, and the good performance is all thanks to them. That’s only natural since GM has finally ironed out the newborn issues of the EV and has also issued a comprehensive set of updates for the premium sibling of the Chevy Tahoe and Suburban plus GMC Yukon and Yukon XL.

Revealed during the summer, the updated 2025 Cadillac Escalade got treated to an interior and exterior refresh with an Escalade IQ-inspired new front fascia, larger optional 24-inch wheels, three new colors (Aegean Stone, Deep Sea Metallic, and Latte Metallic), a curved “pillar-to-pillar” 55-inch display setup, Renaissance Red or et Black and Sheer Gray color palette options, and many more. Even the Escalade-V wasn’t forgotten.

Of course, all the improvements didn’t come cheap – while the pre-facelift 2024 Escalade is still available while inventory lasts from $81,895, the refreshed 2025 Escalade jumped to $89,590, including the destination charge but excluding tax, title, license, and dealer fees. However, that quotation is for the regular model – if you want the 227-inch Cadillac Escalade ESV, then you need to churn out at least $92,590 for the RWD model with the 6.2-liter V8 engine and ten-speed auto or $95,590, including DFC, for the AWD model.

New Lamborghini Silhouette Supercar Virtually Joins the Temerario and Revuelto
Lamborghini Silhouette - Rendering

As everyone and their supercar fan pet knows, Lamborghini’s Urus has boosted the company’s sales to never-before-seen heights. The exotic crossover came out a little over seven years ago, and the current lineup includes three versions: the S, Performante, and SE (PHEV).
Besides the ultra-fast high-rider, which rivals the Ferrari Purosangue and Aston Martin DBX707, the Raging Bull has two other brand-new supercars in its portfolio. The first one is called the Revuelto. It replaced the almighty Aventador and is the brand’s flagship exotic, combining a naturally aspirated V12 with three electric motors for a total of 1,001 hp (1,015 ps/747 kW).

Acting as the Huracan’s successor, the second model is called the Temerario. It is also a plug-in hybrid proposal, just like its larger and more powerful sibling, and instead of its predecessor’s naturally aspirated V10, it comes with a twin-turbocharged V8 assisted by three electric motors. The total output is 907 hp (920 ps/677 kW), and naught to sixty-two mph (0 to 100 kph) takes 2.7 seconds, two-tenths slower than the Revuelto.

There have been several rumors over the years that Lamborghini might be interested in expanding its vehicle lineup with yet another product. What this could be is anyone’s guess, though, from a financial perspective, another high-rider might be the way to go. It would have to be smaller than the Urus, and given the electric push (though EV sales have significantly dropped recently), it might make some sense to launch it with battery-electric firepower.

Balearic Superyacht Forum 2025: Positioning the Mediterranean for nautical excellence
The Balearic Superyacht Forum 2024

The Balearic Marine Cluster (BMC) is at the forefront of efforts to redefine the Mediterranean as a premier hub for the global superyacht industry. Building on its established reputation as a leader in the maritime sector, BMC has announced plans to expand its focus beyond the Balearic Islands, aiming to strengthen the Mediterranean’s position in the face of evolving market demands and rising international competition.

The 2025 Balearic Superyacht Forum, held from 29-30 April in Palma de Mallorca alongside the Palma International Boat Show, will provide the ideal platform to discuss these ambitions. As the forum enters its second edition, it brings together key industry stakeholders to explore innovative strategies and collaborative solutions to future-proof the Mediterranean’s superyacht ecosystem.

The Balearic Superyacht Forum 2024

Advancing the Mediterranean’s superyacht infrastructure

A cornerstone of BMC‘s vision is to help create a robust investment in infrastructure, encompassing marinas, shipyards, and auxiliary services. With the region facing stiff competition from emerging markets and new cruising grounds, ensuring that Mediterranean facilities meet the needs of larger, more technologically advanced vessels is critical.

The forum will feature expert-led think tanks addressing pivotal topics such as marina upgrades and refit infrastructure. For instance, the session on investing in and upgrading marinas (29 April) will delve into how facilities can prepare for the next generation of superyachts, while the Investing in refit infrastructures and business models panel will examine the alignment of market approaches to meet increasing demand.

Tesla Model Y Gets a Desperately Needed Update for 2025
Tesla Model Y (2025)

Debuting in China, the Model Y gets new front and rear fascias, a new interior, and more range.

As it begins its fifth year on sale, Tesla’s most popular model gets a big refresh. This is the new Model Y, which first appeared on Tesla’s Chinese website yesterday and goes on sale there in March, as our colleagues at InsideEVs report, other Asia-Pacific markets soon after. There’s no word on when we’ll get this updated model in America, but it shouldn’t be too long.

Visually, the Model Y changes a lot at the front, with a full-width light bar that takes cues from the Cybertruck and the Cybercab. The actual headlights move lower down into the bumper. It also looks like Tesla changed the shape of the front hood, so this facelift goes a bit further than the auto industry norm of changing the cheap plastic parts like the bumpers, but not the more-expensive metal bits. At the back, there’s another full-width lightbar with the Tesla script underneath. There are new wheel designs and color choices as well. Visually, it’s not radically different overall, but it is distinct from the original Model Y.Tesla Model Y (2025)

Inside, the Model Y adopts the cleaner aesthetic first shown by last year’s updated Model 3 with new seats, a new steering wheel and an ambient light bar. There’s also a separate screen for rear-seat passengers. Notably, the car also retains its turn signal stalk.

Lamborghini Had Record Sales in 2024

Lamborghini has flourished under Volkswagen Group’s ownership, which took over the brand in 1998. After selling more than 10,000 cars annually for the first time in 2023, the last 12 months were even stronger for the Raging Bull. Demand surged by 6 percent to 10,687 vehicles. The brand doesn’t break down sales results, but it’s safe to say the Urus did the heavy lifting.

In Europe, the Middle East, and Africa, shipments increased by 6 percent to 4,227 cars. In the Americas, Lamborghini shipments were up 7 percent to 3,712 vehicles. In the Asia-Pacific region, shipments were up 3 percent to 2,748 units. The future looks bright, considering the Urus is sold out until 2026, while newly placed orders for the Revuelto won’t be fulfilled until 2027.

The 2025 ZR1 Is the Most Expensive Corvette Ever
2025 Chevrolet Corvette ZR1 pricing

At $174,995, the ZR1 undercuts competitors in price while offering more horsepower, more torque, and a higher top speed.

Chevrolet on Thursday released pricing for the 2025 Corvette ZR1. The mid-engine supercar will start at $174,995 including destination, making it the most expensive Corvette ever

The ZR1 is still a relative bargain, considering what you get for your money. Behind the driver sits a 5.5-liter flat-plane, twin-turbo V-8 outputting 1,064 horsepower and 828 lb-ft of torque, making it the most powerful Corvette released by the factory. Chevy claims a 0-60 time of 2.3 seconds, and proved a top speed of 233 mph with a video released back in October.

There’s also a smattering of extra aerodynamics, with 1,200 pounds of downforce on tap when equipped with the $8,495 optional carbon-fiber aero package. If you get than and plan on doing serious track work, there’s the $1,500 ZTK Performance Package, which adds stiffer springs, retuned magnetic ride control dampers, and Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2 R tires. All ZR1s get a carbon-fiber roof, carbon-ceramic brakes, carbon exterior trim, and Chevy’s Performance Data Recorder as standard.
