There’s A Multimillion-Dollar Trump Mansion For Sale, And People Have Ethics Questions

President Donald Trump is selling his beachside mansion in Saint Martin via his corporate trust, and the move has raised a few eyebrows.

Le Chateau des Palmiers is listed by Sotheby’s International Realty. The two-villa oceanfront property at Plum Bay is situated on almost five acres of land with a total of 11 bedrooms and 12 bathrooms, a beachside pool, fitness center and an eight-foot boundary wall.

The Washington Post reports that the gold-accented mansion is on the market for $28 million, far more than the $19.7 million asking price back in 2013 when Trump bought it. Four local realtors told the Post the price is also considerably more than those of other luxury properties in the area, the “most luxurious” of which are listed between $15 million and $17 million.

The Last Of Manhattan’s Gilded Age Mansions Is On The Market For $50 Million

In 1873, Mark Twain and Charles Dudley Warner dubbed their era the Gilded Age in America, characterizing the display of new wealth in America after the Civil War. Impressive homes like this one, now on the market for $50 million, were built for magnates like Andrew Carnegie, John D. Rockefeller, and Cornelius Vanderbilt at the end of the 1800s. In fact, Vanderbilt’s granddaughter once owned this mansion — the last of its kind in New York City, according to the New York Post. The six-story Beaux Arts building includes 32 rooms, with eight baths and two elevators. If you’re partial to grand entrances, there’s also a dramatic white marble staircase. The residence was built in 1905, and a wood stove from that year still remains. Plus, the property comes fully furnished, including the artwork and murals. Although $50 million may seem like a steep asking price, this home’s history truly is priceless.

Nashville Predators Coach Peter Laviolette Selling $3.4M Florida Beach House

Nashville Predators coach Peter Laviolette is smack-dab in the middle of his sixth season as the team’s boss. The Preds have made the playoffs in each of his previous five seasons, and we imagine they’ll be in the thick of the hunt for the Stanley Cup again this season.

But Laviolette won’t be raising an off-season toast in 2020 at his Longboat Key, FL, retreat. He recently listed the fully remodelled Gulf Coast property for $3.4 million.

And “remodel” is a bit of an understatement. The 4,132-square-foot home underwent a complete transformation. A 2014 video of the home showcases a completely different (and dated!) residence. The main floor was fashioned with red-brown tile floors and columns all over the place. There’s also a metal spiral staircase not far from another staircase.

Forest Whitaker’s Hollywood Hills Compound is on Sale for $4.3 Million

The actor purchased the gated property for $1.5 million in 2003.

Forest Whitaker has finally decided to part ways with his Hollywood Hills mansion. The Oscar Award winner is selling his gated property for $4.3 million, after purchasing it for $1.5 million in 2003. Situated on 1.6 acres, the private compound is located just off celebrity-populated Woodrow Wilson Drive.

The compound includes everything you’d expect from a celebrity residence. It features two impressive homes, with a total of 11 bedrooms and 11 bathrooms. The 4,705-square-foot main house, located at 3036 Beckman Road, is complete with a double staircase, an open living, family, and dining room, a striking wall of windows, a spacious cooks kitchen, and much more. The second home at 3042 Munro Circle is just as luxurious. There’s a gorgeous pool, a private movie theater, and a built-in BBQ pit, along with multiple outdoor areas for entertaining.

Actor Joe Pesci’s $6.5 Million Jersey Shore Mansion is For Sale

News of the Academy Award winner’s bayside home listing comes as he emerges from retirement to star in The Irishman.

Hollywood’s beloved Italian American actor, Joe Pesci, just listed his longtime beach home in—you guessed it—The Jersey Shore. A New Jersey native whose roles span from Vinny Gambini in My Cousin Vinny to Harry in Home Alone, Pesci’s 7,200-square-foot mansion in Ocean County’s Lavallette borough can be yours for $6.5 million. While Pesci may be saying goodbye to his contemporary Art Deco abode, we suspect that his recent emergence from acting retirement—with a starring role in Martin Scorsese’s The Irishmen—may have something to do with his decision to part ways with the place he’s called home since 1994.

According to TopTenRealEstateDeals.com, Pesci’s home is located on the shore’s West Point Island neighborhood, with the bay as its backyard and the beach just a short walk away. The open floor plan, wrap-around balconies, and large windows provide views to the bay and beyond. Bright, spacious, and perfect for large-scale hosting, some star features of the home include a media room, private elevator, and heated pool with a spa.

The wisecracking comedian is certainly no longer on the D-list.

The wisecracking comedian is certainly no longer on the D-list.

Funny gal Kathy Griffin’s new $10.5 million estate in Bel Air is A-list Los Angeles, CA, real estate. The fiery redhead, who loves to rank on the who’s who of Hollywood, just snagged this nine-bed, 12-bath property — coincidentally located next door to one of Kim Kardashian and Kanye West’s homes. Although Kimye spend the majority of their time at the main residence in Hidden Hills, CA, you know Griffin got a little satisfaction out of having Yeezy’s Mediterranean Bel Air estate next door.

Measuring 13,377 square feet, the Mediterranean-style home was built in 2003 but recently renovated. Tucked behind guarded gates in Bel Air, a long, private driveway leads up to the contemporary home that features a welcoming, flowing open floor plan. A gourmet chef’s kitchen with a butler’s pantry sits adjacent to the family room, which features French doors that open out to the patio and swimming pool. Overlooking the pool and canyons below, the master suite offers a luxurious setup that includes dual baths, spacious closets, and stunning views.

Inside America’s most expensive listing: Bel Air’s Casa Encantada mansion

The most expensive listing in America is on the market for $225 million.

The Conrad Hilton estate, also known as Casa Encantada, has come on the market for the first time in decades after being built in 1938, the era of old Hollywood.

Over its 80-year history, the mansion became home to some of the most lavish social, charitable and political events at the property, featuring Hollywood royalty and presidents alike.

Conrad Hilton, the founder of the Hilton Hotels chain, owned the home for over two decades, and now Hilton & Hyland, the real estate agency cofounded by his grandson, Rick Hilton, is listing the property.

The 40,000-square-foot modern Georgian was designed to give the homeowners city, ocean and garden views from all 60 rooms.

The mansion boasts 18-foot ceilings in the entry hall, which leads to a reception hall, dining room and living spaces. The home comes with a lighted tennis court, basketball court, a full guest house and multiple greenhouses.
